LOVE DC® Fun-Raising is designed for established nonprofit organizations serving Washington, D.C. communities. To qualify, your organization must be based in the D.C. area and have been actively operating for at least five years.

How do I qualify for the LOVE DC® Fun-Raising Program?
The LOVE DC® Fun-Raising Program is an exclusive network reserved for established D.C. community changemakers.Participation is restricted to registered nonprofits, accredited Main Streets/BIDs, and vetted local businesses based within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region. We do not accept mass or automated registrations. Every prospective partner must undergo a manual verification process to ensure their mission aligns with our strict community standards. Space is limited, and access is granted only to organizations that demonstrate active, dedicated engagement in the District.
Is there a cost to join?
No. There are no application or sign-up fees, and you don’t need to purchase or carry inventory. Once approved, you can begin sharing your unique Fun-Raising link with your network.
How long does it take to get approved?
Applications are typically reviewed within 3–5 business days. Once approved, you’ll receive an email with access to your account, unique referral link, and resources to help you get started.
How do I earn commissions?
Share your unique LOVE DC® Fun-Raising link or QR code with your community. When someone follows your link and makes a qualifying purchase, your organization earns a 10% commission on that purchase.
How long is my referral link active?
Your unique referral link remains active while your Fun-Raising account is active. When someone uses your link, purchases made within the following 30 days can be attributed to your organization, subject to the program’s attribution terms.
How much can my organization earn?
Your earnings are based on qualifying purchases made after clicking your unique Fun-Raising link. Your commission rate starts at 10% per order, and there’s no limit to how much you can earn in the program. Go nuts!
When and how are commissions paid?
Partners choose their preferred payment method during the application process, including options such as Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, check, or bank transfer. Payment timing may vary depending on the method selected.
Commissions become eligible for payment after qualifying purchases are completed and any applicable return or cancellation period has passed.
Once the applicable product refund period has ended, our team manually processes earned commissions through your selected payment method on the following Monday.
What happens if a customer returns or cancels an order?
Commissions are earned on completed, qualifying purchases. If an order is canceled, returned, or refunded, the related commission may be canceled or deducted from future earnings.
Does LOVE DC provide any marketing materials?
Yes. We make sharing easy. Approved partners receive access to ready-to-use social media graphics, printable posters, product images, and other promotional materials. Many can be customized with your unique Fun-Raising link or QR code upon request.
